LOCSU is a co-signatory to an open letter to all optometrists, dispensing opticians, and optician businesses regarding vaccinations.
Fourteen optical bodies have united to highlight the importance of vaccinations against transmissible diseases.
The letter makes the strong recommendation that professionals in patient-facing roles should be vaccinated in line with each nation’s public health advice.
