Treasurer Sessions

The latest set of quarterly Treasurer sessions were run in March and are continuing to be welcomed as a useful addition to the support that LOCSU gives LOCs.
There was a lot of discussion around succession planning for the treasurer role and ensuring that LOCs have at least dual access to LOC funds.

LOCSU is also offering a buddy system pairing a new treasurer with a more experienced one.
One participant told us “Thank you for these sessions, they are really insightful and useful as a new treasurer”.
A summary of the discussions are distributed to all treasurers.
LOCSU will continue to facilitate regular virtual meetings for Treasurers to enable networking and sharing of ideas and resources.
