Save the Date for NOC 2025!
28 November 2024
Our flagship event is back in 2025 bringing together the optical community for another outstanding session of sharing, learning, and networking.
Mark your diaries for Sunday 18 and Monday 19 May 2025 and join us at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole for the National Optical Conference (NOC) where you’ll hear leaders from across the sector discussing core challenges and initiatives.
The NOC is a must-attend event and LOCs are encouraged to send as many delegates as possible so they can get maximum value from the workshops and speaker sessions.
Keynote speakers in previous years include Chris Hopson, Chief Strategy Officer, NHS England; Louise Wickham, National Clinical Director for Eyecare; Professor James Kingsland OBE; and Professor Anton Emmanuel, Head of the NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard. As well as national strategy and clinical pathway updates, NOC also typically covers pressing practical topics such as mental health and wellbeing.
NOC 2025 will include interactive workshop sessions and updates from the LOCSU leadership team, as well as plenty of opportunities to meet colleagues from across the country, build connections, and share experiences. The drinks reception and dinner are always a social highlight.
LOCSU CEO Janice Foster says: “NOC 2025 will build on previous events, ensuring that all attendees get value, information, and inspiration from attending. It’s the perfect place to catch up with connections and make new ones in an energetic, friendly atmosphere. I encourage every LOC to join us – especially members who haven’t attended before.”
More information about the NOC 2025 will be shared in the coming weeks. For now, make sure Sunday 18 and Monday 19 May 2025 are booked in your calendar.
