Registration Opens for First LOC Secretary Day

LOCSU are pleased to confirm that registration is now open for our first event dedicated to LOC Secretaries.
The event will be held at Friends House in London on Wednesday 3 February, beginning at 10.30am and finishing at 4pm.
Attendees will benefit from learning and networking with other Secretaries and Vice-Secretaries, taking away tips from their peers and a greater awareness of the tools that LOCSU provides to support LOCs.
Register here before midday on Monday 11 January to guarantee your place.
Registration is open to all LOCs, and places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Places are initially limited to one per LOC with the option to join a waiting list. When registration closes any remaining places will be allocated to people on the waiting list.

11am – 11:15am: Welcome and Introduction
11:15am – 12:10pm: Find your Sweet Spot – A minute-taking and record keeping workshop.
Reflective, interactive and scenario-based learning.
12:10pm – 12:20pm: Comfort Break
12:20 pm – 1:15pm: Build your Toolkit – Sharing Good Practice
Sharing tips on effective use of tools such as Microsoft 365, Google and Mailchimp.
1:15pm – 2pm: Lunch
2pm – 3pm: Secretaries as Leaders – Case Studies and Peer Discussions

3pm – 3:30pm: Time to Shine – Triad Work
Set personal goals.
3:30pm – 3:40pm: Support from LOCSU – Short Presentation
A presentation summarising support solutions from LOCSU to help enable you to reach your goals.
3:40pm – 4pm: Wrap Up and Close
