Benevolent fund offers support

25 February 2021

Covid is making life difficult for most people but for optometrists whose work patterns have been significantly affected, it might be having devastating effects on your ability to support yourself and your family. That’s when you may need some short-term help to see you through a difficult patch; or perhaps some expert advice about managing on a reduced income until life resumes something more like normality.

But it’s not only Covid that might be causing problems for people within the optometric profession right now. Challenges caused by acute or long-term illness, disability, bereavement, family upheaval and employment still continue, regardless of Covid.

The Benevolent Fund exists to support members of the profession who are experiencing difficult times. Don’t be afraid to get in touch with them for a chat.

Contact the fund for confidential advice and information.
