Are you new to your LOC? Book now to join the next LOC Induction Course, beginning on Monday 14 September 2026.

The LOC induction course is ideal for both complete beginners who may not have attended a meeting yet, through to members who have been on the LOC for a couple of years but may not have attended the induction course before.

As well as gaining a grounding in what LOCs do, their functions and governance and who they work with in the optometry and wider healthcare community, this four-week course is a perfect opportunity to network and connect with colleagues across the country.

Facilitated by LOCSU’s Training and Development Lead, Simone Mason, delegates can complete the course in their own time and at their own pace, with weekly webinars to support along the way.
