Chairman of LOCSU Announces His Retirement

LOCSU announces that Mike Fegan will retire as Chairman in April 2022.
Mike was appointed in late 2018 for a 3-year term and has played an important role in supporting the Board and management team through a very difficult period in LOCSU’s history which has included the period of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mike said:
“It has been a great privilege to Chair the Board of LOCSU on behalf of LOCs and the optical bodies. Now that pressure from the pandemic is abating, it is appropriate to pass the Chairmanship on, and for me to retire.”
LOCSU Chief Executive Richard Whittington added:
“Mike will be missed by LOCSU. His steady guidance and advice drawn from his long commercial career has proved invaluable and personally I have really enjoyed working with Mike, have learnt a lot and want to wish him well in his much-deserved retirement.”
LOCSU has commenced a search process for a new Chairman.
