Latest LOC Induction Course to Launch in January

27 November 2025

LOC Induction Course

Delegates can now book to take part in our latest LOC induction course, set to begin on Monday 12 January 2026.

The four-week course is offered to members of levy-paying LOCs, and is a perfect opportunity to gain a grounding in their functions and governance.

Delegates will also have the chance to connect and network with colleagues from across the country, and to work through content in their own time.

LOCSU anticipates that around three hours a week should be allocated to the programme.

The course is facilitated by LOCSU’s Training and Development Lead, Simone Mason, who urged delegates to consider the course to become effective members of their LOC quickly.

She said: “Our induction course is ideal for complete beginners and members who have been on an LOC for a couple of years. but haven’t attended yet.

“It is a fantastic opportunity to grow your confidence, network with colleagues from across the country, and become an effective member of your LOC.”

To book, please complete this form by 10am on Wednesday 31st December. Please ensure that you notify your chair before registering.

For any further questions, please find more information here, or contact Simone on smason@locsu.co.uk.
