LOCSU Hosts Popular Time Management Bitesize Training Course

28 June 2024

Simone Mason quote

This month, LOCSU hosted two ‘Time Mastery: Seeing Clearly Through Efficient Time Management’ training sessions, as part of our series of bitesize training sessions.

After huge demand for the first session on Thursday 13 June, a second date took place on Wednesday 26 June, both of which were well attended.

The session was led by Simone Mason, LOCSU’s Digital Learning Support Officer, and joined by Alvaro Borges, LOCSU Advancement Lead.

Exploring why time management is crucial and covering key techniques, these bitesize sessions were designed for members who feel overwhelmed with their to-do-list or have an interest in learning about improving time management and overcoming procrastination.

Registrants gained three interactive CPD points, took part in various activities and interactive chat, and received a workbook containing key techniques to put into practice after the session.

Simone Mason, LOCSU’s Digital Learning Support Officer, said: “I hope these sessions made it easier for the attendees to start to think about and improve their management of time – a crucial skill to be aware of as a LOC member and personally as well. Overall, we introduced our members to ideas that may help to transform how they plan and prioritise their days.”
