Meet the Team – Kizzy Donaldson

Born and raised in Hadleigh, Essex, Kizzy Donaldson joined the LOCSU team in April 2026, equipped with a wealth of experience in administration and the healthcare sector.

Following a short stint in Spain, Kizzy started her career in Southend NHS Foundation Hospital Trust in 2003, then working as an administrator in the Projects Department.

Kizzy took on many roles in her 19 years with the trust, including in the Occupational Health Department, Patient Advice and Liaison Services, and as Office Manager for the Dietetic Department.

Upon leaving Southend in 2022, Kizzy took up an Admin Managerial role in primary care supporting services – covering dermatology, gynaecology, urology, neurology and cardiology in practices across Essex – before spending time in the private sector for global company Mitsui as PA and Office Manager.

“I have loved my roles in administration over the years.” Kizzy said. “I like supporting services that are needed in our local areas and supporting colleagues and staff to be able to roll out better services for everyone.

“I like thinking on my feet and that no two days are the same – it can be such a varied role, and I thrive in a busy environment.”

Outside of work, Kizzy enjoys travelling, experiencing different cultures and spending time with her family, including her husband, three kids, two dogs, two cats, tortoise and a crested gecko.

“I really enjoy spending time in different cultures, and love visiting buildings and the architecture in the places I visit.” Kizzy said.

“I love spending time with family and friends and walking the dog. I am a brown belt in Jujitsu but no longer participate. I also go to line dancing classes – which is so much fun.  When I do get the time, I love to read and enjoy most genres.”
