NHS England to Offer Standard Contract Webinars

NHS England are to run two webinars on the activity management provisions in the Standard Contract early in the month of March.  

LOCSU will attend on behalf of LOCs, and any important, primary eyecare applicable updates will be communicated to all in the LOCSU bulletin.

These webinars are aimed at contract management staff using the NHS Standard Contract, comprised of a presentation by Helen Wilson (Deputy Director, NHS Standard Contract), and a following Q+A session. 

During the hour-long session, NHS England will explain the contractual provisions for Activity Management set out in Service Condition 29 and explained in section 42 of the Technical Guidance.  

The webinars will also cover the agreement and setting of Indicative Activity Plans, and how to approach the management of activity by reference to those plans, both for contracted and non-contracted (NCA) relationships.   

LOCs interested in attending to hear the information first-hand are advised to register a place as soon as possible. Please note that the content of both webinars is the same, and there is no need to attend both.?You can register for a session below.
