NOC 2020 to be a Virtual Event

19 June 2020

In light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, it has been decided that the National Optical Conference should not be a face to face event in 2020. Our top priority is the health, safety and well-being of LOC members and LOCSU staff and this cannot be guaranteed at a conference which is attended in person.

However, we feel that there is a role for a national forum for LOCs to receive updates, and more importantly, to share their views and contribute to the future direction of the sector. Therefore, NOC 2020 will be a virtual event, at which we hope to provide a mix of keynote speakers and informal interactive sessions to generate and share ideas. Planning for the event will be starting shortly.

Please keep 17-18 November free in your diaries at this point and look out for further updates over the coming weeks.
