ROC Registration Expanded Following LOC Feedback

15 July 2026

LOCSU are pleased to confirm that – following LOC feedback – registration for the upcoming Regional Optical Conferences (ROCs) in November will no longer be limited to two places per LOC.

LOCs will now be able to register as many attendees as they would like on a first-come, first-served basis – and can do so by selecting the relevant regional event in our members’ area here.

While we appreciate that holding registration in the members’ area adds an extra step, this has been done so to ensure that only LOCs are able to register for the events.

Each LOC has been provided with one log in for the members’ area – and these have been shared in an email to LOC Officers on Wednesday 15th July 2026.

As a reminder, the ROCs will take place as follows:

  • North East & Yorkshire: 3 November 2026, Hilton Leeds City, Leeds.
  • North West: 4 November 2026, Delta by Marriott Liverpool, Liverpool.
  • South West: 10 November, Mercure Exeter Southgate, Exeter.
  • Midlands: 12 November, Crowne Plaza Birmingham NEC, Birmingham.
  • East of England: 17 November, Holiday Inn Cambridge, Cambridge.
  • London: 25 November, Doubletree by Hilton Angel King’s Cross, London.
  • South East: 26 November, Doubletree by Hilton Angel King’s Cross, London.

Please only register for the region in which your LOC is located.

A full agenda will be shared as soon as possible, including an update from LOCSU, a clinical session focused on pathways, and an afternoon dedicated to regionally selected topics.

Each event will start at 10.30am – with registration open from 10am on the day – and close at 4.30pm.

Registration will close at 12pm on Monday 12 October. Please ensure that everyone on your LOC who wishes to attend has registered by this date so that we can finalise details with the venue.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact info@locsu.co.uk. We look forward to seeing you later this year!
