Are you new to your LOC? Book now to join the next LOC Induction Course, beginning on Monday 24 June.

We are now in full swing for the LOC AGM season, and the induction course is ideal for both complete beginners who may not have attended a meeting yet, through to members who have been on the LOC for a couple of years, but may not have attended the induction course before.

This is a great opportunity to connect with colleagues across the country, as well as gaining an excellent grounding in what LOCs do, their functions and governance, and who they work with in the optometry and wider healthcare community.

This course is facilitated by LOCSU’s Digital Learning Support Officer, Simone Mason, with the content available to work through our online training academy, so you can access the learning 24/7 as long as you have an internet connection. The content is varied and consists of videos, podcasts, PDF,  activities, quizzes and much more to learn and give you the foundations to become an effective LOC member.
