LOCSU Launches 2024/25 Forward Plan

14 May 2024

This week, LOCSU launched the forward plan for 2024/25, with the continued focus of placing LOCs at the front and centre of everything we do.

This refresh of the 2023/24 forward plan sees LOCSU build upon the progress undertaken in the last 12 months and the initial learning from the LOC listening events and LOC feedback throughout 2023. LOCSU continues listening and learning throughout 2024/25, balancing transformation, development and service provision to ensure maximum support and value for LOCs.

Janice Foster, LOCSU CEO, said: “LOCSU achieved a lot in 2023/24, and we’re excited to build on that in 2024/25. This refreshed strategy outlines our plan for the coming year, where our continued aim is to provide support to LOCs, prioritising their needs and doing what we can to make their lives easier. Engagement with LOCs will continue to be a central plank of LOCSU activity throughout the year, as we work together to co-create a 5 year strategy, focussed on adding value for LOCs and the primary eye care sector.”

LOCSU look forward to an interesting year ahead and together we will shape and develop services across England to make a difference for patients and providers alike.
