LOCSU Annual Report 2023/24 Published

The 2023/24 LOCSU Annual Report is now available.
The report includes events of 2023/24 and covers LOCSU priorities such as
‘Increasing LOC focus’, ‘LOC development’ and ‘Protecting and increasing resource in primary eye care’.
Janice Foster, LOCSU CEO, and Joy Tweed, LOCSU Chair, said: “The past year has been an ambitious and transformative one for LOCSU, with a focus firmly placed on responding to the needs of LOCs. Through our “you asked, we did” approach, we’ve made significant strides in aligning our efforts with the feedback we received, ensuring that LOCs are at the forefront of everything we do.
“It has also marked the first full year for us both in post with Joy as Chair and Janice as Chief Executive. One of the highlights for us has been witnessing the incredible work that LOCs carry out to enhance and protect services, all with the vital goal of iimproving eye health outcomes and reducing avoidable sight loss across England.”
