Subject: LOC Domiciliary Levy Claim – claim requested by 17 July 2025
Dear LOC Treasurer and Chair,
Following the established process for LOCs claiming a portion of domiciliary levy payments through LOCSU, we can confirm the 2024/25 claim amount for each LOC is £207.29.
This is the second full year of this arrangement which evenly redistributes LOC levy income from the main national provider. This arrangement ensures all the levy is not retained in the one LOC that the provider is registered in and instead is distributed across all the England LOCs where the provider is active.
LOCSU recognises ongoing frustrations with the PCSE payment system changes implemented in 2023 and continues to advocate for fairer solutions on behalf of LOCs. While a permanent resolution remains beyond our direct control, we are committed to supporting LOCs through this process.
How To Claim
To receive your levy share, please complete the attached template invoice and submit it to info@locsu.co.uk by 17 July 2025.
Please note:
- full bank account details should be included for BACS payments,
- payments cannot be made to personal bank accounts,
- unclaimed amounts will be donated to the Central Optical Fund after 18 July,
- claims will be processed at two-week intervals and payments made within 30 days.
