In her opening comments to conference Janice Foster said: “My aim is to support you to capitalise on all the opportunities we have coming our way so that we can make this sector the best it can possibly be.”
At the start of the conference delegates were asked the question ‘Do you think we are in a good place to navigate the new NHS?’ – the resounding answer was ‘no’. But by the end of the NOC a repeat of the poll saw a complete about turn with an overwhelming majority voting ‘yes’.
In response CEO Janice Foster said: “We can see how over the past 2 days we have brought about a dramatic movement of the poll results; we are ready for change, we want to be the best we can be, to experience great things, and we need to be willing to explore that together.”
